Reviews of Belmont Camping

The vast majority of our feedback is complimentary. Many of our visitors return again and again. Here are just a few of the comments we have received.

"...a lovely pitch by the entrance to another field and near the toilets and showers."

campsite and lakes.

We were welcomed by Gordon as soon as we arrived. Gordon then explained everything we needed to know.

There are lots of things to do here. My husband went fishing on the small pond. We had a nice walk around the larger pond. There are plenty of walks around the site including a large dog exercise field. We walked to The Cock @ Budworth Pub (which is only about 10 mins on foot) through two fields and across the road. I took lots of pictures of wildlife, fields trees, planes etc.

In the very well kept shower block there are men and women in one door and unisex toilets and shower in the other room. All the toilets and showers are cleaned to a high standard (we were there on a wet weekend and the floors and facilities were spotless). In the men’s and women’s toilets there is a mini library with dvds, games, photos and a telescope that you can use. There are lots and lots of information and leaflets regarding visits in and around the area

Gordon was very helpful and friendly to talk to.

The site itself was well laid out, there was plenty of room between pitches. The site was lovely and quiet.

We really enjoyed our stay here. -->

"1st class site. One of the best I have been to."

Everything as it should be and all has been said before. Ideal location. Far enough off the roadside so that it is nice and peaceful.

Only down side, which is beyond their control, is the amount of traffic on the roads. But I would certainly visit again.

"Never have we stayed in such a perfect place as this!"

We've camping, caravanned and motorhomed all over the UK, as well as in the US and Australia. Never have we stayed in such a perfect place as this!

The scrunch of gravel as you arrive sets the scene. On either side of the winding drive are lakes, teeming with geese and ducks, while specimen trees dot the parkland around the pitches. We stayed on hard standing with our own hookup, water and waste water facilities, but grass pitches and a rally field are also available.

The welcome was warm and friendly, the washrooms heated and pleasant, and we enjoyed breakfast while watching a pheasant, two squirrels, a woodpecker and innumerable ducks and geese going about their daily business.

Absolutely top marks all round from us!e in for some treats!

"A lovely friendly site in an idyllic setting."

A lovely friendly site in an idyllic setting. Extremely friendly and helpful wardens.

"A fabulous trip to this gem of a site ..."

The site is in the grounds of Belmont Hall and campers have the use of the grounds including fishing lakes.

This site is very dog friendly - our three particularly enjoyed the a dog exercise field where dogs can play off lead.

There are 3 showers 1 for woman, 1 for men (both suitable for disabled) and 1 unisex, and 2 toilets each for men and woman, and 3 unisex - all immaculate.

There is one washing up sink which is inside (great on those rainy days).

This is a gem of site and we will definitely be returning
